World's Largest Toilet Bowl

Every now and then, human industriousness finds itself at an intersection with limited human intellectual firepower. The results can sometimes be interesting, bizarre, and downright scary. In this case, a vast subterranean salt mine carved out through years of human toil meets an ill-advised oil-drilling expedition at the bottom of a lake. The intersection point is a 14-inch hole.
